Explore the unique culture of the oasis city of Al Ain, the second largest city in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. With a history dating back to the 4th millennium BC, Al Ain is one of the agricultural centres of the Emirates, as well as a university town and the birthplace of the President of the U.A.E.
After lunch, visit the Al Ain Palace Museum, the former residence of the late ruler and founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, from 1927 until the early 70s. From there you’ll go on to enjoy the breathtaking ascent to the summit of Jebel Hafeet, the highest point in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. On the return journey to Dubai, the tour stops at a quaint camel market, where you’ll have an opportunity to observe these extraordinary 'ships of the desert' up close.
